Secret Sister Exchange
PLEASE READ ALL THE RULES!! If you can't commit to all the rules, please do not play. You MUST be registered to attend the October Retreat to participate.
Rules:
1. The first rule is to HAVE FUN!! This is meant to add to your fun not be a stress induced activity. The purpose of this is to SPOIL your sister and in turn be SPOILED.
2. SPOIL your sister! Share gifts that you would be proud to have someone open and that are in align with the answers on her form. It is SO exciting to get something that has thought or meaning! This is NOT the time to clean out your stash of items that should go on the drop-n-swap table. Finding great deals is perfect, handmaking something...heck yes, putting EFFORT and THOUGHT in to each gift….THE BEST! Think how you would feel to get the gift you are giving, if it makes you feel good then it's perfect!
3. We spoil our sisters each day with the reveal at noon on Sunday. You MUST be able to attend the reveal, that's the very best part of the event, meeting your secret sister! Please don't sign up if you can't attend the reveal.
4. You are required to have one gift Thursday, one gift for Friday, one gift for Saturday and the reveal gift for Sunday. Read your secret sisters form to see what she likes and spoil her rotten. Make a handmade card with a simple gift inside, a little box with snacks is always great! A pack of paper that she's been looking for, a bag of ribbons or cool embellishments that she's requested, something you've created that is in her favorite color or a theme she's working on....all thoughtful, all simple, all inexpensive.
Gifts should be as follows:
Thursday $15.00 - $20.00
Friday $15.00- $20.00
Saturday $15.00- $20.00
Sunday Reveal $30.00-$50.00
Please keep gifts to at least the minimum suggested, if you chose to go over the suggested that’s great just understand your sister may not.
5. We will do a reveal gift on Sunday at noon. This gift can be several smaller items in a gift bag, one larger item, a handmade gift, etc. We ask that you spend around $30.00 - $50.00 on this gift. This gift should be the BIG gift, the one that says "I LOVED SPOILING YOU ROTTEN, LET ME DO IT ONCE MORE!"
6. Label gifts CLEARLY with your sisters first and last name and with the following: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday indicated on tag. Make sure your tag is securely attached! It is very helpful if you wrap/bag all gifts in the same paper/bag or have all your tags matching. Bring ALL gifts to the Secret Sister room once you get unloaded, just remember this is a secret so be discreet.
Do NOT hold gifts, we need them ALL dropped at designated areas please. You will be given a number when dropping off your reveal gift. No gifts will be given out until you have signed in with my staff ensuring you have brought your sisters gifts. Do NOT put your name on any of the gifts only your sister's name.
7. If you complete a secret sister form you are promising to spoil your sister. You promise to be grateful for what you receive knowing your sister has put thought and time into your gift and that some will spoil more than others. You promise to be a good sister and have a blast being sneaky! You promise to notify K.I.S.S. immediately if you can't fulfill your obligation so no one is left without a sister to be spoiled by.
8. COMPLETE YOUR FORM! I don't care, I'm not sure, yes, I decorate, or I like to scrapbook are NOT answers! You need to give details and information so your sister can shop for you! The more details and info you give the better she can spoil you, if you give no details don't expect much. You HAVE to be specific; you HAVE to be honest; you HAVE to answer the questions with something more than yes, no or I don't know.
You will be emailed your assigned sister by August 10th at the very latest.
