This class is designed to show you that a “Marked Bible” is more than highlights and underlines…It’s a creative and unique way to study scripture, draw closer to God, and produce a visual record of your faith journey. Participants will learn how to take one verse or passage and make it come to life through highlighting, adding notes, doodles, creative elements, and by using symbols and color-coded markings.

Student will leave with: Students will receive training, reference materials, and other resources on how to use the “Marked Bible” system, created by Nicole Henderson.
Participants will begin coding, marking, and decorating their Bible and should complete several “marked” passages.
Supplies needed: Precision-tip scissors, Tape runner, Liquid glue, Black, fine tip, non-bleed, journaling pen, Colored pencils or fine-tip markers
Participants will receive an NIV Award Bible, highlighter set, and printed handouts/ephemera.
